Good value waterjet cutting with precision and environmental benefits
Waterjet cutting is a precise and versatile method with many advantages. Cutting and drilling are done with the same tools in our modern machinery where we take advantage of the latest innovations.
Figure cutting is done with a waterjet of 4,000-6,000 bar and this method is suitable for virtually all materials, except tempered glass. The areas of use are therefore many. TOVAB supplies, for example, figure-cut parts for machinery, subcontract work and signs in various materials and quantities. Water-cut details usually need no finishing, which saves both time and money.
Sweden’s most modern fleet of waterjet cutting machines
Our goal is to constantly be at the forefront of development in the industry, which we do with the help of skilled personnel and technical investments. TOVAB has one of Sweden's most modern machine parks, which means that we can carry out waterjet cutting with 6,000 bar and in large sizes up to 9x3 meters. Waterjet cutting up to 200 mm thick is possible in almost all types of materials. We know our materials well and are happy to share that knowledge.
We perform contract work in the form of cutting in both large and small series directly from CAD drawings, pictures and sketches. We are happy to start with finished CAD drawings (AutoCAD. dwg format) that can be sent by email. However, if you only have a drawing, photo or sketch, we copy the figure according to specifications. Waterjet cutting is:
- High quality
The cold waterjet is gentle on the material and does not cause tension, microcracking or thermal and chemical damage. - Time-efficient
Cutting and drilling are done with the same tools and our large material stores ensure fast delivery. - Cost-effective
The high quality cutting edge of the material means that after-treatment is seldom required. In addition, material spill is minimised thanks to the 0.2-1.5 mm wide cutting jet. - Considerate
The cutting method is kind to the environment because it is free from gases, vapours and dripping molten metals.
We are gradually broadening our markets and delivering profiled parts and materials to players in many industries in the Nordic countries and the rest of Europe, for example:
- Steel industry
- Manufacturing industry
- Pulp and paper industry
- Mining industry
- Off-shore industry
- Food industry
- Aircraft industry
- Chemical industry
- Medical and pharmaceutical industries
